Business Trip to Dallas, Texas

Going on any business trip typically requires a lot of logistical planning. From hotel accommodations to flights, everything must be properly organized. I had decided to rent a private car for me to commute within Dallas. As a business traveler, I was looking for a place that was near the airport as well as my client’s location. Before my trip, I had researched various car rentals options online and booked a car in advance. My trip was for a total duration of 2 days (2days and 1 night).

I had made a telephonic reservation at OYO Townhouse Dallas Love Field Airport. The receiver confirmed the availability of rooms and offered me a choice of accommodation options concerning the features of the room explained clearly and concisely. On arrival at the OYO hotel, I parked my car at the allotted slot and proceeded to the reception. I presented my booking confirmation number to the executive present at the counter and by booking was confirmed. I availed the complimentary breakfast facility at the in house restaurant serving Continental and Indian dishes. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the items available are limited, but were sufficient and took care of that meal. This was a very useful facility that I availed for myself as it saved a lot of time for me in the mornings while I would be rushing to attend to my professional needs.

I had booked a King size bedroom facing the vast and beautiful landscaping of the property. Upon arriving at the room, my initial impression was that it looked comfortable and clean. It was free of odors and the room was elegantly appointed. The room appeared spacious and was well lit.  There was an undisturbed free Wi-Fi facility throughout my stay in the hotel. The room came with various facilities like Swimming Pool, Coffee/Tea Maker, 24/7 Check-in, Gym, Fire-Extinguisher, Card Payment, Refrigerator, Daily Housekeeping, First Aid, Electric Kettle, etc, are some of the amenities available at this property for a comfortable stay. I checked into the room, freshened up and immediately left to meet my client. After a hard day of work and attending meetings back-to-back, I returned to the room and decided to use the mini-bar that was provided at the room. The mini-bar had a good selection of snacks and drinks. I made my selection from the menu and relaxed with some drinks.

Later that night, I decided to take a walk and dine at one of the local restaurants in the surrounding and ended up relishing hot and spicy Mexican food at El Paisa Cocina Mexicana. I returned to my room and had a good night’s, undisturbed sleep.

I woke up early the next morning and walked around the property to take a closer look at the beauty of the property. The property is surrounded by ample greenery which offered a great start to my day. I then got back to my room, got ready for work and headed to the restaurant for some complimentary Continental breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and truly worth it. I headed out of the hotel in Dallas to attend my meetings scheduled for the day. I returned to the room in the evening. to see the room reorganized and well cleaned. I left the hotel in the evening and headed towards the airport to board my flight back home.

Overall, the room was comfortable and spacious. Furnishings, linens and toiletries were upscale and well supplied. The room had ample lighting, and the temperature was at a comfortable level with a cozy bed.
