Luckily for Eva, she had a strong-willed personal trainer by her side to get her back on track- Jarden Barros, the man she would later on marry. After a hard, long year of work, Eva managed to notice great results. Throughout that year, she had figured out that she loved bodybuilding.
So, in 2005, she attended her first competition- The National Bodybuilding Association (NABA) Brazil Logo Cup. She won the first prize in the Figure category at the age of 21.
The wins continued to pile up over the years: NABBA 1st place at Lobo Bravo Cup Champion, and 1st place in Parana, Brazil, with the IFBB 1st place in Bodyfitness, Brazil, Overall Champion in Bodyfitness, Brazil and 3rd place at the South American Championship in Peru.
Just like all of us, even this professional had psychical and mental limits, so she had to take a year-long break. She came back to the game stronger than ever before in 2007.
She entered the world of modeling as she was not financially stable from her athletic lifestyle, and that decision was what made her globally famous. Her pictures were showcased on the pages of “Revista Sexy.” She the face of Athletica Nutrition. “Dica Fitness” is her TV show where she puts her fitness and wellness knowledge to use. The show first aired in 2015.
